Wholesale Real Estate Investing: There are literally hundreds of companies that put on seminars, publish books, and have internet web sites designed to teach you how to enter the real estate market. Real estate is, and has always been, a good way to make money and have some tangible property to show for your investment of time and cash.

What those teachers do not tell you is that you can study all you want to, but you must take that next step and put it to practical use. What successful thing in life has only one step, after all? There are always more steps than just one, so it’s important for you to go beyond the first step.

Hundreds of thousands of people all over the world take courses in real estate investing. They pay from a little to a lot. Some courses are very cheap to begin with, but before you learn the real meat of what works, you must pay lots more once you have invested time and interest in continuing.

The real truth is that a very tiny percentage of people actually go on with the courses, and even fewer take the real steps to becoming successful real estate investors. Anyone can go forward and use what they learn to see success. Most don’t go that far, for some reason.

Experts attribute the lack of confidence as a very big factor in why most don’t go beyond the learning stage. It’s particularly tough to approach buyers or sellers and strike up a reasonable deal if you have never done anything even remotely like that in your occupation. A car salesman might do well, as she is used to speaking to the public and selling a vehicle’s best attributes to make a sale.

Those late night infomercials that target people in other occupations fail to mention that the transition from auto mechanic or cubicle clerk to one that can buy and sell real estate needs special attention. Everyone CAN do this, but those issues need to be addressed effectively by real estate professionals who have been doing real estate or something similar all of their lives.

When you look for a program to educate you, make sure to pick one that addresses that specific issue for you and gives you a boost in your confidence level.
